Getting started

Up and running in minutes.

    Install on both phones

    Camvori runs on iPhone and Android. The camera phone and the watching phone can even be different platforms.

    Pair side by side

    Pick “Camera phone” on one and “Watching phone” on the other, scan the code, then tap Allow on the camera.

    Place it, then watch

    Plug the camera phone in where you want to see. On your phone, tap Connect — you’re live.

What it asks for, and why.

Camvori only asks for what a live camera genuinely needs. You can change any of these in your phone’s settings.

Do I need an account?

No. Camvori has no sign-up, no email and no password. Phones recognise each other through the one-time QR pairing you do in person.

Does Camvori record or store my video?

No. There are no recordings, photos, AI analysis or cloud video storage. Live video is only carried between the phones you’ve approved, and it isn’t kept anywhere.

Is audio sent?

Only if you turn the microphone on, on the camera phone. It’s off by default, and the app asks for microphone permission only when you do.

How do the phones find each other?

On the same Wi‑Fi, the watching phone finds the camera directly. Away from home, a small signaling server introduces the two phones and then steps aside — video goes phone to phone, or through an encrypted relay if the network blocks that.

Can I watch away from home?

Yes. On the same Wi‑Fi as the camera you can watch for free, as long as you like. Away from home the free plan includes 15 minutes of remote viewing a month; Camvori Plus removes that limit.

Does the camera keep running in the background?

On Android, the camera runs as a visible foreground service with a Stop button in the notification. iPhone doesn’t allow a camera to run in the background, so keep Camvori open and the phone plugged in while it streams.

How many phones can watch at once?

Up to two viewers can watch one camera at the same time. Every viewer has their own connection, and you can remove any of them whenever you like.
